Sugar N Cream Rug

This is rug made from a freebie pattern from Sugar N Cream. I'm not a sewer so I think I will ask my mother-in-law to sew some type of backing on so I can possibly use this as a bathroom rug.

Murphys Star Blankie

This is a star blankie I made for my dog Murphy. It was originally going to be a blanket in Cubs colors but I really liked this star pattern I got from The Diva Crochets! blog. http://yarn-diva.blogspot.com/2006/03/free-star-shaped-afghan-pattern.html
The pic below is Murphy crashed on the couch with her blankie.

Purse-first attempt

This is my first try at crocheting a purse. The pattern is from the Lion website. I used 2 strands - Homespun Baroque and Patons Shetland Chunky Tweed in Bisquit. I also used a different flower pattern and added a little bling in the center. The lining is packaged fabric from Michaels. I might try making another with plastic handles instead of crocheted ones. http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/cctq-twoRedsBag.html?noImages=0

Baby It's Cold Outside Sweater

This sweater is made from the Baby It's Cold Outside pattern by Julie Holetz for the Crochetville crochet along. I made this last night while watching tv-very easy and fast. I used a J hook and 2 strands of Bernat yarn-a garnet worsted weight I had from a kit I never used and white Baby Coordinates. This will make a great holiday sweater for a little girl. I think I will also make a matching hat. http://www.crochetme.com/Feb_Mar_2005/patt_baby_sweater.html

Baby Sweater & Hat

More items for my pregnant sister in law who is obviously having a boy. These were made with Bernat Softee Baby yarn.

Chenille Thick n Quick Afghan

This is an afghan I made for my son using Lion Brand Chenille yarn. I like the contemporary look and style. He picked the yarn out himself and the color black (go figure). The pattern is from Lion.
