St. Paddy's Day Version-Mini Felted Clutch Purse

This is felted from Lion Brand Wool yarn in white since I couldn't find a feltable green color I liked. It is made from my Mini Felted Clutch Purse pattern only extended for an extra 10 rows to give it a little more room. I like how the way this turned out and the decorations can be changed out for different holidays.

SWS EarFlap Hat

Again my reluctant but fabulous model strikes again! This hat is made from Patons SoyWoolStripe yarn. This yarn is very soft and crochets into so many things beautifully.

Kitty Kat Hats

The reluctant model for my style of Kitty Kat hats is my son. He says they are warm but way too girly for him. They are made by crocheting 3 strands of Carons Simply Soft together with and L hook.

Valentines Mini Felted Clutch Purse

I have made 2 more of my Mini Felted Clutch Purses for Valentines Day. For the pink one I used Lion Wool and 2 different size hooks so the top at the handles would flair outward. It measures 6 1/4" from handles to bottom and the width is 11 1/2". The second purse was made from Classic Merino in Rosewood-a variegated yarn I thought looked pretty in the store but I really don't like it after making the purse. I experimented and made this one deeper-very easy just added 10 rows. Maybe I will embellish this one and will like it better. My stepdaughter says its cool-looks like pink and purple camo to her. In my opinion I think the Lion Wool felted the best out of the two yarns and I will use this for these purses from now on. I am considering submitting my pattern for publication to several places-we'll see what happerns.

Felted Mini Clutch Purse

This is the perfect size for a wallet, keys and lipstick or compact-great when a big bag is too much. This is felted with Patons Felt It in Adobe. I think I will make a few more in different colors. A rose colored one with a felted heart would be perfect for Valentines Day.

Blue Fun Fur Scarf

This is a jazzed up version of a simple double crochet skinny scarf made extra long. It has an edging of fun fur to match the purse I made her for Christmas. Super easy and she really likes it.

Suede Fat Bottom Purse

This pattern is from another one from Debbie Stoller's "Happy Hooker" book. I used Lion Suede yarn in taupe crocheting with an I hook and the accessories came from Joann's-the flower is a pin so I can remove it and change to another color or flower if I like. The pictures don't do the ribbon justice-it is brown velvet and matches the flower. I like the idea I can switch the ribbon and flower-makes it a year round bag in whatever color palette I choose for the accessories.
