This is an afghan I made for my son using Lion Brand Chenille yarn. I like the contemporary look and style. He picked the yarn out himself and the color black (go figure). The pattern is from Lion.

Hi I love the afghan. The colors are really good toghether. This afghan looks a lot like the blocks afghan in from the Family Circle easy crochet magazine. Is this the same pattern or a new one.
Thanks-I got the pattern from a chenille thick n quick book from Michaels. It has a lot of nice looking patterns but my son really liked the look of this one.
